REV. TRUC NGUYENFr. Truc was originally from Samoi, Vietnam. He immigrated here in 1975 with his family and finally settled in Orange County. He has a BS in Engineering from University of California, Irvine and Cal Poly Pomona. But it wasn't until 8 years later that he answered his calling to be a priest, finally being ordained in 2000. He holds a Master's Degree in Canon Law and Pontifical Licentiate degree. He is the current Pastor for Cathedral Chapel of St. Vibiana in Los Angeles., CA
REV. PAUL VUFr. Paul H. Vu is a Catholic priest of the Diocese of Orange, CA. He grew up in Garden Grove with his parents and three younger siblings. As a seminarian, Fr. Paul studied Philosophy, Religion and Literature at Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon. Afterwards, he studied Theology in Rome at the Pontifical Gregorian University while continuing his formation to the priesthood at the Pontifical North American College. Ordained a Priest in 2012, Fr. Paul continued his studies in Canon Law, where he earned his licentiate in 2014. Since then, He has served in a number of different parishes in the Diocese of Orange and is still presently involved in many prayer groups, movements and lay associations. He has also spent time at the local diocesan office of Canonical Services where he worked on marriage nullity cases from 2016-2018. Fr. Paul currently lives in Rome, Italy, and is an official at the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts at the Vatican.
When not working, Fr. Paul enjoys traveling around Europe and has been on numerous pilgrimage tours. In addition, he likes to read, cook, teach and participate in many different outdoor activities. Dennis’ family was originally from the Czech Republic, previously Czechoslovakia. His Mom’s family immigrated to the United States in the late 1940’s, with his father following later in the late 1950, finally settling in Chicago. He has a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California. It was while doing his doctorate that he got involved with the USC Catholic Center and decided to enter the seminary with the Servites. He did his postulancy year with the Servites at the Franciscan School of Theology in Berkeley, CA. , continuing his studies at the Servite’s International College of Sant’ Alessio at the Marianum in Rome. He is currently the Pastor for St. Philip Benizi in Fullerton, CA. Following in the footsteps of his outspoken and anti-communist family, he comes from a long line of religious agitators. Currently, he is a very strong voice of the homeless in Orange County and is a member of Housing is a Human Right OC — a group that promotes supportive, affordable and permanent housing for homeless individuals.
